An outstanding small-scale thriller that grabs you by the throat from the get-go and never lets go, tightening its grip as a seemingly straightforward situation gets ever more complicated...Performances throughout are totally convincing.

The Cost was often predictable yet unrealistic. The writing was amateur. Perhaps a lack of skills and understanding/imagining real life situations/scenes that wouldn't happen in real life. Too bad, otherwise decent cinematography.

Clever story about vigilanti justice. A wife and sister murdered, husnand and brother seek revenge when perpetrator is given 32 year sentence but set free after only 10 years

An excellent Australian made thriller, brutal, edge of your seat movie that was well thought through and represented todays relevant themes: sad lack of societal accountability, victims of crime and the sheer frustration of perceived injustice. A true 'rough justice' outcome that shows there are always consequences in every action. Excellent acting especially by Clay Watson.

I wanted to like it , good story line however wasn’t a fan of acting far from superb Simon foster . Script could be better with less obvious lines . Found it predictably boring , didn’t believe the actors. Far from a thriller I’m surprised at the tomatoes meter and audience rating Could have been a good movie Are critics paid ? David Stratton review was close
