It feels like a second-rate attempt to create something frightening, but when it comes to delivering fear, it never finds its footing. I kept waiting for the movie to establish more danger, but instead, it remained stuck in the same place. There are back-and-forth moments, and you can see the potential for something interesting. Unfortunately, much of that potential collapses as the movie continues without developing beyond what it establishes early. I wanted real progression, but it often felt like the movie was going through the motions. The Containment struggles as a horror story because it never fully commits to the horror. I wish there had been more connection between the actors, the story, and the delivery, along with stronger suspense. Instead, we got a film that gives us what it intended, but never what we wanted. Movie kinda just starts and is all over the place while not making sense. Would not recommend watching at all to be honest, especially not if you have to pay.
