hi . @Tbh01 4 days ago The reason im giving this a 2.5 is because i have seen better corn material + the scene wasn't that long Look, i’m AroAce. BUT I personally see Taken 2008 as porn more than an actuall movie. The sex trafficking is SO fucking unrealistic [ Don't take my word for it- take the words of Anti trafficking professionals ] that i see the movie as a sexual fantasy. Taken 2008 "Rich young white woman gets *insert unrealistic portrayal of sex trafficking* and protective dad has to save her" I ignore dat and i SKIP to the auction scene and start hitting it If i wanted to actually care about sex trafficking i'd watch something like Lilya 4 Ever. Director Pierre Morel keeps the tension high throughout, while Maggie Grace gives the story enough emotional grounding to make Bryan's mission feel personal. The plot doesn't break much new ground, and some villains are fairly one-dimensional, but the focused story, brisk pacing, and Neeson's commanding performance make Taken one of the best modern action thrillers.
