Most anthology films have ups and downs. It's almost inevitable. Southbound is more even and has more connective tissue than most, but it does feature one segment that singlehandedly justifies seeing the whole movie.

Southbound es una antología menor que no destaca mucho como otras de su tipo y es una lástima que no llego a ser una de las mejores antologías del cine de horror. Pero tiene un fascinante visionado sobre el infierno y el purgatorio que la hace una curiosidad del género. Solo por ese concepto inusual y lleno de potencial es que merece una oportunidad por parte de los amantes del cine de horror. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 7/10.
