Barbara Duggen, 'The Mobile Seamstress', is struggling to keep her fabric shop alive. After a botched sewing appointment sets her on a quest to replace her client's lost button, she unexpectedly stumbles upon a drug deal gone bad. Faced with two downed motorcyclists, guns, and a briefcase -- Barbara is completely torn. She is forced to pick between three choices: commit the perfect crime, call the police, or drive away. The narrative presents the repercussions of all three decisions, and the deadly confrontations that result from each as she gets entangled with the case's owner. Using thread to free herself, Barbara stops at nothing to save her store.

This twisted comedy/crime/thriller is a hidden gem. It is farfetched what the seamstress can do with a needle, thread, string, and rope- especially in the first and third stories- so subtract 1/2 a star from my rating.

I would have never watched this if it wasn’t for a recommendation and I am glad they recommended it cause it was an interesting and a unique watch. You really need to go into this movie blind and not know anything about it. The only thing I can really say is this movie follows seamstress who has to make a decision. The way this story is told with her decision is very unique. This has a good cast that worked really well with the story being told. The cinematography was also great with so many great looking shots. I would recommend checking this movie out. Streaming now on Netflix.
