In the midst of a summer heat wave, New Yorker Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell) ships his wife, Helen (Evelyn Keyes), and their son off to Maine for vacation. Left alone to work back in Manhattan, Richard encounters a gorgeous blonde model (Marilyn Monroe) who has moved into the apartment upstairs, and becomes immediately infatuated. While pondering infidelity, Richard dreams of his beautiful new neighbor -- but will his fantasies about her become a reality?

Shallow, dissolves the sanctity of marriage and makes men look like they have no control. Talks to himself too much. Only liked the wipes.

terrific romantic comedy with great performances by Monroe and Evell. The imagination of his character where he truly believes he's a lady's man was funny. Then temptation enters his mind as a gorgeous blonde moves in upstairs. She truly lights up the screen and in this movie we get the most iconic shot that includes a white dress. A classic. I started watching to see the iconic scene of Marilyn standing over the subway. It was enjoyable to watch but I wouldn’t say it’s substantial. Watching Tom Ewell spiral the whole movie was funny. I read someone else’s review and they said it felt like a long episode of a 70’s sitcom and I couldn’t agree more.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Synopsis
