Scream 3 is a great end to a trilogy. This is because as a good trilogy it reveals something that we never knew about. I like the story and the Hollywood setting. This is the strongest our main 3 cast have been together up until now. I really like Mark Kincaid (sadly he will not be returning in Scream 7), This is my favorite Ghostface motive of the franchise. It is also my favorite reveal just the way Ghostface removes the mask mid sentence and you hear the actual killer’s voice. The Ghostface in this one is my favorite Ghostface of the franchise. I really like how we see Sidney’s trama because of the first two movies and that she is just tired of Ghostface at this point. Finally the way the Dewey, Sidney, and Gale fight and work together to catch Ghostface is wonderful.

This is the only Scream film I’m mostly negative on, to no one’s surprise. With that said, I certainly don’t hate it. It’s still very entertaining, has some great moments, and the meta concept for this sequel is actually pretty smart. But, it’s also a significant drop off compared to its predecessors. The writing is considerably lazier with the “threequel rules” schtick, and the plot twist I don’t think really works when you think about it.

No no why kill cotton but great opening. Hated the back to the start theme but I suppose all killers start somewhere. Loved the intro of Detective Kincard good film took me 3 watches to appreciate it

Scream 3 is definitely a fun movie, and it’s easily got the best killer of the franchise, but the story’s a mess, Roman is teleporting all over the place, killing off Cotton was a waste, and the voice changer in this movie doesn’t make sense, considering this was in 2000
