This finally blows the lid on all the UFO and Bigfoot TV shows. It is an important documentary because it shows just how much subtle manipulation the media does to sway people's opinions. This should be required viewing for school children in every country. Bravo to the producers of this documentary!!!

Extremely informative. Provides the behind-the-scenes information which demonstrates how some producers/editors change the context of what scientists and science communicators are actually saying. This is a must-see documentary for anyone who watches supernatural-themed "reality" shows.

Eye-opening interviews with experts whose contributions were edited or manipulated to to serve the biased goals of the film maker. If you wonder why experts are refusing to talk these days, you won't after watching this.

Brian Dunning brings a wealth of experience to his investigation of the intentional mishandling of scientific information by Hollywood. Science Friction is well worth a watch, along with this other films "Here Be Dragons", and "Principles of Curiosity". Brian also hosts a weekly podcast, "Skeptoid", which explores all sorts of myths, misinformation, and urban legends. Often, the true facts are far more interesting than the mythologies which grow up around them.
