Not only a brilliant and flawless cast, an amazing photography work and one of the finest, dense writings of these last months if not years. Rosebush pruning is a vivid critic of flawlessness and perversion of the upper class that has the power to feel reasonable but strangely uneasy, to smell like rotten food, an object of desire that is no longer desired, one of the finest way of portraying the appalling nature of millionaires. A staging that feels like an artificial, custom-made telenovela made of disgusting people, what could be better and more powerful to better tell the disgusting truth? One can complain about the movie "trying so hard to shock you" on rotten tomatoes and the score will lower. That’s how this shit hole is. To me, Rosebush Pruning is an absolute must-watch like a few out there. A subject that respects itself and that remains itself to the end.
