Captured by the Umbrella Corp., Alice (Milla Jovovich) receives genetic alterations that leave her with superhuman abilities. Always loved the desert setting, and the infected are mean as hell, this time around. Some of the plot choices are a bit wonky and weird, but the zombie-killing scenes are a bunch of fun. 7/10

This is a awesome franchise so far. I love the direction the writers took in this movie from showing us different animals infected with the T-Virus to how far umbrella is willing to go to get Alice to make a cure and the campiness added a nice touch to the movie as well. I’m really curious to find out how Alice got her powers though I hope they explain it some more in the next movie. What I’m really excited to see is how Alice and her clones try to take down umbrella. The setup for the next movie was great.

RE: Extinction is hilariously entertaining in a campy, Max Max rip-off sort of way; it has pretty visuals, Milla in stockings, and zombies. This movie should not be taken seriously as it WILL sour your experience--it's literally zombie Birdemic at one point. Sit back, relax, and enjoy Jovovich's total lack of emotional range!
