Stephen W @RT60290895 Jul 15 This film would probably never be made in the United States. The mores of France are quite different from ours and, although the lead actor was 19 when it was filmed, she is depicted as a 15 year old who, by our prevailing standards, would be considered the victim of child abuse by her neighbor even though that was not the way the story played out. The story is well told and the only problem I had was figuring out Solange's affinity to Guillaume, i. e., whether they were relatives or simply lifelong neighbors.
