A single suburban father works at a mall as a security guard to make ends meet. He takes his job very seriously, even though most of his colleagues and customers don't. As the holidays approach, Paul gets his moment to shine when Santa's little helpers shut the mall down and take hostages, including his daughter and girlfriend. He realizes no one knows the place better than he does, and he mounts his trusty steed, a Segway, and goes to the rescue.

A wonderful classic that may have bad writing but is nostalgic and fun to rewatch. It is a must watch for me. If your looking for a good movie with good writing this might not be for you if your looking for a good time pick this movie.

Todos deben ver esta pelicula con su familia, sus hijos, su perro y su gato y pajaro porque es muy filosofico y ensena mucho sobre la vida. si no fuera por esta pelicula, yo no Seria la persona que soy hoy en dia.

I enjoyed this movie so that I go back to it every couple of years. Good clean fun with a bit of heart. James plays it with sincerity which is what makes it work for me.

It’s dumb, but fun and funny. Kevin James is endlessly likable as Paul Blart, and although the plotting is poorly done and the acting cheesy, it’s a really fun time. And it has a heart, too.

Though it takes too much of a die hard in a mall approach and it's just like every other Kevin James Movie, it does benefit from the fact that it is family friendly, and it is appropriate for kids. It isn't going to win any awards, but hey, you wanna waste some time, you could do worse and I enjoyed it, despite its flaws!!!
