Unlike their heroic counterparts on the force, desk-bound NYPD detectives Gamble and Hoitz garner no headlines as they work day to day. dialogues are hilarious. I literally laughed so hard at the lines throughout the film. The opening section with Samuel L Jackson and Dwayne Johnson is wild. Their death scene gives you a total what the fuck kind of feeling. It is so ridiculously silly. There are so many funny things to talk about in this movie. It is a really good comedy and a fun film overall.

To say this is a spoof movie is an insult. The other guys is its own buddy cop movie with a unique story and back to back laugh out loud moments throughout the movie
