They played with your emotions as I feel like the movie should. See more Siddharth S @Sid__19911991 Jul 7 The kind of real events & stories of real people that Hollywood rarely does these days. We get a peak into the hard lives of brave firefighting men doing thier jobs-to contain wildfires, among others. The movie is realistic, seems technically accurate, & focusses primarily on the personal lives of 2 firefighters which does a great job at flushing out the motivations, emotions, lifestyles of the firefighters as dwelling into the lives of the entire 20-strong team does not translate well in a movie format. The 145 min runtime breezes by & you emotionally connect with all the characters. The CGI is top notch & seems so real. You will be moved by the end of the movie. Josh Brolin & Jennifer Connally shine. My only criticism is that the movie could have been 30 minutes longer & dwelled deeper into firefighting. It is more than just a film about firefighters; it is a story about courage, brotherhood, sacrifice, and the commitment of people who put their lives on the line to protect others. What I enjoyed most about the movie was how realistically it showed the dedication and challenges faced by these brave men. The characters felt genuine, and the bond between the team members made the story even more meaningful. The intense fire scenes were unforgettable, but the emotional moments and personal struggles made the movie truly special. The performances were excellent, and the film did a great job of showing the human side behind the heroes. It reminds viewers that bravery is not only about facing danger but also about having the strength to make difficult choices.
