Fun. didn’t reinvent the wheel, but it did what some new Christmas movies fail to do: put together some actors who actually seem to enjoy each other’s company and the movie that they’re making. Oh. I picked a movie to watch since I was bored, this movie was a "Comedy" and it was not wrong. It was a comedy for how trash it really is! It looked like they barely had a budget. They said to the actor "Just come in, you will do good!" They did a horrendous job producing this movie. I would rather watch Morbius 100x in a row than watch this garbage of a movie. I watched this movie a while ago and just wanted to share my opinion. I would NOT see this at all. You would be even more bored. Terrible movie. And the actors had terrible lines! How much more worse could this movie get?!? What a role, and what an incredible performance, she really carries the entire experience on her shoulders. The acting overall works well, and the cast feels well chosen, with a natural chemistry that makes the story easy to follow and connect with. That said, the direction didn’t fully land for me. Some of the transitions felt off, almost distracting at times, and a few of the visual effects came across as cheap and oddly placed, like something quickly put together rather than thoughtfully executed. It takes you out of the moment more than it pulls you in. At its core, it’s a simple, relatable family movie that’s easy to watch and easy to digest. There’s nothing particularly complex or groundbreaking here, and you’ve probably seen this kind of story before. Still, it does enough to keep you mildly entertained.
