When God decides that mankind has become too sinful and must be wiped off the Earth, he chooses Noah (Russell Crowe), a pious man, for a great task. Noah must build an ark large enough to hold his wife (Jennifer Connelly), adopted daughter (Emma Watson), sons (Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Leo McHugh Carroll) and their wives -- plus breeding pairs of every animal. It's as odd and schizophrenic a picture as you're likely to see in the focus-grouped, play-it-safe moviemaking climate of the moment, and the fact that it exists at all is sort of a (ha ha) miracle.

The film questions a creator’s obligations at earthly and spiritual levels, with complications that concern masculine privilege to color the margins. "Noah" doesn’t preach to the choir. It dares the choir to keep up amid minor chords & melodic inversion.

This movie is highly inaccurate and deeply disappointing, If you are looking for an accurate, respectful, and faithful depiction of Prophet Noah Instead of showing Prophet Noah’s true character,,his 950 years of patient preaching, deep compassion, and divine wisdom, the film incorrectly portrays him as a negative character unfortunately,who even threatens his own family. It replaces core spiritual themes of faith and idolatry and introduces bizarre, non-scriptural elements.

Entertaining. If you’re a religious fanatic, you won’t like this at all. If you’re not, but you know the story, you’ll find it distorted to the point of being almost unrecognizable. It’s hilarious how hard they tried to erase Eva from humanity’s curse—there’s even a part where they call it "Adam’s sin," and they made CGI androgynous figures for the apple scene so no woman was shown reaching for the fruit that started it all. Beyond that feminist nonsense, the movie is fun to watch. Good cast. Feels more like a chapter of LOTR than the Bible. Popcorn movie, but forgettable.
