Sameir A @RT21611577 12/07/2021 A very slow, offbeat, realistic and beautiful movie. Not for everyone, this is for those who enjoy out of the box dramas. Really loved it. The film deals basically the struggles of a small family. If you get into the characters, this film will give you an unforgettable experience. Filled with 80's pop songs and neon lights, the film follows the life of one of many of Hou's strong female protagonists and her gangster brother. One thing that intrigued me as in other Hou films like in A City of Sadness was how casually violence appears when you don't expect it. I think it's due to the general causal slice of life approach of his films. See more Read all reviews
