Not for the faint of heart, its an extremely dark comedic romance. However it's very well written and very very dramatic.

This movie made no sense. Lots of blood but for no dramatic purpose. The fact that Oliver Stone directed it just makes it all the worse. Of course Tarantino had a hand in it. Juliette Lewis made the film tolerable.

Good movie. Love the gonzo style editing, the overall plot. And great cast selection across the board. Does dry out a tad in the second half… which is a shame.

The most beautiful love story ever. I absolutely love this film and have ever since it came out. Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis are amazing in this movie. The entire movie is just so good and was such a brilliant commentary on the way violence and killers were portrayed in the media at that time.

I made this a date movie without knowing what I was getting into upon watching it. I was highly impressed with Harrelson’s performance as the cold blooded Mickey and I thought Lewis, who I am not a huge fan of, played an ideal, just as evil and malicious, accomplice. The film was a bit over the top in terms of the extreme violence but it definitely had its moments when it came to keeping my attention. I don’t mind violence in movies but I have my limits and this one just kept escalating. That being said, I found the media plot angle and how the media portrays certain things pretty interesting. Robert Downey Jr. was also very good but towards the end of the film things just got too chaotic for me. Not the best date movie that’s 4 sure, but I would recommend it otherwise for a solo venture or for ppl who love relentless, in your face bloody crime dramas with a deeper message behind it.

I can understand why it's controversial. I unfortunately missed it in the theater. It wasn't what I thought it was gonna be (then again, I walked into it cold) The whole thing is grainy and messy, which is probably the point. Those rose tinted circular glasses are so iconic. It's a cultural cult classic piece that should simply be unmissable-- even if I didn't enjoy it or like it a whole lot.
