While it's terrifying what happened to these boys, they are fortunate in having loving and supportive friends and mothers. It presents the story honestly but it's really about growing up with childhood trauma and learning to cope with it. Omg… This movie is insanely great and tremendously disturbing. So disturbing that at first I thought to give up on it but then I got hooked with the plot. I don’t wanna give away too much but it’s a deep queer drama about teenagers coping with their trauma and its influence over them in their adult lives.
