Bobbo K @RT84120498 1 day ago I do not think that this film is any kind of masterpiece. I like that there is direct continuity between the first and second films but compared to the first film it was not as fun. The character writing remains accurate, though. Sunset Shimmer having properly turned a leaf could have been done well, but they didn't find a way to make that so. They even managed to make Sunset Shimmer left out even though they didn't explain why her redemption was justified. Then again, maybe I missed the whole point of G4 being friendship is magic.
