There are reminders here - as there were in the recent Irish horror The Lodgers - that the haunted house movie still contains possibilities. Neither will it, however, keep you awake at night like The Orphanage.

Marrowbone is a smart and well-crafted mystery/horror film that explores themes of memory and loneliness. It features a cast that includes young and beautiful Mia Goth and Anya Taylor-Joy from 2018. If you are a fan of these fine actresses, definitely watch this film.

Don't know how or why is movie has such a crappy rating, it was an amazing movie. The ending was so jaw dropping, I had to take a lap. Be prepared to cry, at least I did.

Marrowbone (2017) Honestly, the movie is very promising at the beginning, the cast is wonderful, the script is good up to a certain point, but the ending is very disappointing.

Very dark and quite heavy emotionally. The plot holes near the end bothered me a bit, but overall it was a powerful, emotional film. George MacKay gave an outstanding performance and really went all in. credit to him for that.
