Marc By Sofia also introduces how it takes an obsessive person to get all the details right, but doesn’t go deeper than that. Too bad, a little more about Jacobs the person would have created a fuller portrait.

I think the problem goes back to Coppola being too close to her subject. She clearly sees something in him all the time, so she doesn’t bother to dig too deep so that the rest of us can share in this knowledge.

Not so much about Jacobs as a person but as a professional. So much chatter and not much substance. Rather boring for someone not into fashion, since there’s little opportunity to learn about that which you don’t already know.
