Ever since childhood, nerdy Danny O'Shea (Rick Moranis) has felt inferior to his brother, Kevin (Ed O'Neill), a former college football star. Danny runs a gas station, while Kevin coaches the local youth football team. When Kevin's team rejects Danny's daughter, Becky (Shawna Waldron), because she's a girl, Becky convinces her dad to start a rival team, though the city can support only one. To prove himself against his brother, Danny begins coaching his team of misfits for a playoff game.

An exceptional feel-good movie about never giving up and besting your biggest foes with humility. Rick Moranis, Ed O'Neill, and all the child stars in this film truly deserve their flowers. 4/5 stars.

I absolutely adore this movie about kids who weren't good enough to play for the cowboys so instead they form their own team. The new team the giants are lead by Rick Moranis and Ed O'Neil coaches the cowboys. The movie has many funny moments and it is a great underdog story. This is a top 10 sports movie and til this day I'll always root for the giants over the cowboys. Tim Treakle
