May 11, 2023 Really good one right here. You need to try it James Welch, Henderson Arkansas made the 11th 2023. See more Jan 20, 2022 I struggled to watch the heroine's plot to return and save the day. She is just memorizing a script. No emotion except when she is with the dog. No chemistry between anyone. I think they all have potential but no one's hearts were in this movie at the time it was filmed.. just another pumped out romance movie to fill the yearly quota. The actors may be good in other movies where the motivation is different, but while watching this for the first time, I am yelling directions to the screen. Why would you do that? Touch the chairs with memories and emotions of enduring love. This is the grandma who raised you! If you are empty on the inside, so is the acting. I am not trying g to be rude, just want to help teach others it is not about pumping out another script, it is the dynamics and chemistry. You can have the suckiest script but win awards if the passion and drive with chemistry lights up the screen. It looks like they just showed up and finished, the cutting room butchered the scenes, they all took pay checks and went home. Doubt me? See that she is 2 steps away and then leaning into Curtis on the steps after dinner with Lewis? So many more too. Either the cast could not stand each other long enough to get decent takes, or some clips were accidentally deleted? I know this is not Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, but maybe try?
