Dialogue tires hard to be hip bu misses badly. You got guys who look grunge with all wrong hair on the dance floor. Great music but doesn't hit the wild randomness off Studio 54 and other famed clubs. See more noa r @RT16325647 Apr 10, 2024 i definitely think this movie is a hit or miss. i watched the first hour and was really confused within the plot, so i decided to watch the movie in one sitting the day after. to be honest this movie is a teaching of the 80s as an era, and the nyc lifestyle at the time for young adults. it's very comical and excellent when it comes to it's dialogue, chloë sevigny is a fantastic lead as someone navigating their social life in the city. in my opinion... this film has ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS BY FAR.
