Living large and loving life, Po realizes that he has a lot to learn if he's going to fulfill the next challenge from his beloved instructor. The biggest problem with “Kung Fu Panda 3” is tone: while the first two films WERE funny, the third film TRIES to be funny with too much hyperactivity and “gags” everywhere, saturating the viewers instead of making them laugh. Full review in Spanish.

While this is the weakest of the now four feature films, it does give Po his father and show his two fathers negotiating team parenting. Po must find his chi and fight jade zombies with the help of his biological father's panda village.

greatest cartoon movie oat i love it the character development the momentum love how po's family never learned chi but tried to save po's life it was great the villain was amazing love how he took out the palace

A colorful and emotional continuation of Po's journey, with beautiful animation, entertaining action, and plenty of humor. The father-son relationship adds genuine warmth, while Kai makes for a visually impressive but somewhat generic villain. The story is simpler than the first two, and some comedy feels aimed more at kids, but the themes of identity, family, and self-acceptance give it a satisfying emotional core.

Crazy to think that at one point this was my favourite kung fu panda film. Although I now think of it to be the weakest of the first three movies, I still think that it is incredibly underrated. For one, I personally love the continuation of Po's arc with him struggling with not only teaching kung fu, but also his own personal identity as a: panda, the dragon warrior, a teacher a student, or who his true family is. I also think that out of all the films in the franchise, this is not only the most magical and optimistic, but also has the best animation,and music out of all the films. Although Kai isn't as great as Tai lung or lord shen, I still think that he's a pretty underrated villain who's also destroyed by his own hubris, but I wish his motivations were explored further. Also there are a few Plot holes, like how did TIGREss know the location of the secret panda village? and how did she get there so fast? but it doesn't really serve as a detriment to the film.
