Si sente l'assenza di un vero personaggio cool che stia dalla parte dei buoni e che si distingua dalla bizzarria dei comportamenti di tutti. La sceneggiatura è un continuo colpo di scena mantenendo però costante quella sensazione di commedia che non abbandona nemmeno nelle sequenze che potrebbero essere più drammatiche. Quello che a tratti sembra un omaggio a Ritchie, finisce per essere qualcosa di già visto come intenzioni; rendere tutto il più bizzarro possibile pur di mantenere leggero il prodotto.
