Samuel H @RT37554111 2 days ago One of worst movie I ever watch and making a sandwich while it is apocalypse and having a chance to go to plane to save your life and instead go back to get the medicine and I am sure military has meds like pain killer for his son. Overall everything about this movies is so bad and the acting was horrible especially why would you save your ex wife who treat him so bad from the beginning. That it was better than most disaster movies out there. And uhh, yeah, I can confirm, that is true. I don’t love it the way others do, nor do I think it’s quite AS gripping as I’ve seen some claim; I do think it falls into generic territory at times, and is at times a tad too dramatic for my taste. But all things considered, being dramatic in this kind of situation isn’t the craziest thing ever, and it uses its genres cliches rather well. Gerald Butler’s character is interesting enough, and you buy into and become invested in this family, and the consequences that this disaster ultimately brings to the world. I think it meanders a little in the second act, and the actual disaster doesn’t really happen until the third. But the material is compelling enough to stand on its own without it, the majority of the time. Yeah, this was solid. Not amazing, but an entertaining, fairly compelling disaster flick.
