“Goonies” is an entertaining film and has a cult following of teens from the ’80s, who remember the film well. Adults will enjoy watching it with their children, since it’s a more subdued family film than what comes out today.

If you close your eyes and listen; Its the same Cyndi Lauper song as a segaway to the next part of the adventure after the kids that wouldn't sit together in the lunch room are having. If you watch it very little continuity error an immersive story and is that Arnold Schwarzenegger in a mask, superman shirt and pirate hat? If so John Candy jr is trying to put the guy up for a woodie award. All in all The Goonies is almost like watching a live action Scooby Doo mystery, go ahead and cringe... Im not a fan of animated adaptations either. Because movies like this gives a certain je ne sais quoi making you like it, knowing its like a Scooby Doo with a different cast? Now you know what. P.S. Girl's just wanna have fun would have worked equally well as the song stuck on repeat.
