It was fun! We don’t have enough adventure movies, so I appreciate it. Sure it was light and carefree, not a complex plot. Enjoy it for what it is.

This is a movie where Guy Ritchie is brought in as a dancing monkey to be paraded. It's not a Guy Ritchie movie. However this is a movie to watch in an weekend afternoon with your favorite drugs of choice. This isn't a serious movie. Also Eiza Gonzales needs to be stopped from trying to act and go back to her singing. She's one of the worst villains I have seen in years.

I really really wanted to love this movie. It has a great cast, fun story, but...it just doesn't work. The lightning is poor, the dialogue is flat and acting stilted, although Donhall Gleason is enjoyable to watch and Thomas does a very good job, possibly the best of all. It's a pity because it should have worked. All the ingredients for an enjoyable fun film, but somebody switched off the oven too soon.
