Waiting at a restaurant for their married friends Mickey (Billy Crystal) and Ellen (Debra Winger) to arrive, a group of friends shares the story of Mickey and Ellen's relationship with Andy (Joe Mantegna) and Liz (Cynthia Stevenson), a soon-to-be-wed couple. When NBA referee Mickey travels to Paris to bury his father, the casket is lost by the airline. The employee tasked with helping Mickey is Ellen. The incident brings them together, but a number of things threaten to pull them apart.

I love this movie. Not too sappy, plenty of laughs, and a unique premise. Crystal and Winger play of each other so well. The supporting staff is excellent and Reiner directed it flawlessly.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I have no idea why this movie has just a 50% score. William Hickey just steals it as the Father in Law. The seagul stuck to Debra Wingers head as she tries to walk nonchalantly into the vets office? Its not your usual romantic comedy, its not supposed to be.

I think this is an underrated movie. It was funny and also realistic and sensitive concerning love and romance. It would be a great date movie. NBA fans would get a kick out of some of the scenes.
