SurvivorAlways 7 @MyLife4Me79 Sep 14, 2026 I would give this a 6 out of 10 which breaks my heart because I love pretty much everything Steven Spielberg does. It felt like this movie had an identity crisis. I thought it was supposed to be a dramatic, serious SciFi film but despite the obvious SciFi subject matter, three quarters of it felt like a late 80s/early 90s style action thriller with car chases and big splashy sequences. The actual SciFi related parts of the movie were really well done especially that last maybe 20 minutes of the movie, which were the riveting and sophisticated style film that I was expecting to watch. I was also really intrigued the two or three times that the questions about God, faith and religion, were brought up but just as quickly as it came up, it would get dropped again.
