From the guitar roar on the Dust Brothers' opening title track through to the thundering drums of Pixies' Where Is My Mind? it is pure synapse-splitting sensory overload and the road that commercial cinema refused to take. Go to Full Review

Perhaps it is postmodern filmmaking, whatever that means. In any case, Fight Club remains the ugliest, most inhuman film since Natural Born Killers. Go to Full Review

Marios K @RT04753237 1h It’s wild that 25+ years later, some people still don’t get this film. [SPOILERS] "Why shouldn’t we talk about Fight Club?" Because the Narrator suppresses his inner chaos. Breaking the first two rules but.. The "fighting" isn’t about the people, it’s him confronting his frustrations, suppressed rage against the system/his boss and office life, and fractured identity. Every match is a symbolic outlet, giving structure to his mental rebellion. Of course Tyler is imaginary but also every event, goons, Project Mayhem, explosions, is filtered through his insomniac fractured mind. Perfect timing, exaggerated violence, impossible coincidences: all stylized projection, not reality. The ending seals it: he "shoots himself" to erase Tyler, yet stands with Marla watching the city collapse like sandcastles, a symbolic reconciliation. Fight Club is a fever dream exploring identity, desire, and chaos. Reality is optional and perception is everything. See more Susheel Varma V @RT53148207 5h David Fincher nailed it....... See more Lillian M @LilNostromo 5d If you like plot twists and psychological analysis, this movie is for you! You definitely gotta sit and pay attention to details, but its really good, and has a dark dingy vibe to it. See more Dean F. @DFtheTruth Mar 23 10/10, Finchers peak work in every aspect. The world building and colors are amazing as well as the cinematography and storytelling. I don't think anyone could see that twist coming and it's even hinted at throughout the film with flashes and easter eggs which you don't get until the second watch. Love when movies leave it up to your mind and you can go down many rabbit holes with this one. Phenomenal movie. See more Read all reviews
