If you're looking to get more into horror, or even introduce your older teens to the genre (and I mean 15/16 plus – there are some over-the-pants action and sex scenes, which are just not fun to watch as a family), I really recommend these movies...

I expected a generic slasher going into this but it turned out to be completely different, and I loved it! Insane plot twists, solid horror, great characters, this is a great movie!

This movie surprisingly REALLY interested me. I was expecting it to be boring, or cheesy, or filled with bad writing, but it was none of those things. I genuinely laughed at multiple points, and it accomplished something that horror movies usually don't do for me: it spiked my heart rate a little.
