After a brutal breakup at a high-school graduation party, lovelorn Ohio teen Scott Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) goes on a quest across Europe to find his sexy German pen pal, Mieke (Jessica Boehrs). Joining him are his brainless buddy (Jacob Pitts) and a pair of twins (Travis Wester, Michelle Trachtenberg) they meet up with in Paris. Scott's quest does not turn out to be easy, however, and the backpackers become embroiled in many farcical situations as they hop from country to country.

EuroTrip is a good example of shameless early-2000s teen comedy energy. It is crude, silly, horny, and proudly unserious, but it knows exactly what kind of movie it is. The loose road-trip structure helps, sending the group through London, Paris, Amsterdam, Bratislava, Berlin, and Rome so the jokes never stay in one place too long. The most memorable moment is still "Scotty Doesn’t Know." It is ridiculous, mean, catchy, and placed early enough to give the whole movie a burst of energy, with Matt Damon making the joke even funnier through pure commitment. Michelle Trachtenberg gives Jenny more personality than expected, while Jacob Pitts is very funny as Cooper, the group’s reckless, overconfident idiot. The movie is basically exaggerated stereotypes and chaotic misadventures, but it has enough dumb, rewatchable charm to remain enjoyable.

Super funny, highly offensive which is great, excellent work from unknown actors other than the girl, cameo from matt damon, Scotty doesnt know! Hilarious, the nude beach scene is totally on point, the pope stuff is funny, see this gem!
