Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are both so memorable and lovably dumb as Harry and Lloyd. The iconic Dog Car was funny. The classic scene about "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?" is still hilarious. Same goes for the annoyed response "Guys! Guys! Guys! Fellas...". The movie starts off a little weak with Lloyd being a creepy towards the lady in the beginning. But thankfully it gets a lot better once the missing briefcase plot kicks in. The movie is very quotable, especially the line "So, you're telling me there's a chance". The comedy is sometimes hit or miss, but overall pretty funny. The lovable friendship between Harry and Lloyd is the heart of the story and tuns the flick into a pretty fun road trip movie. The woman from Aspen is very sweet. The chatty woman is funny and she has a great twist reveal near the end. It's not perfect, but it's a smart script about dumb people. See more Jace E @thefilmguy Jul 15 How this movie made me feel in one word: Lighthearted. Exceptionally dumb but endlessly quotable, it's impossible to not laugh while watching this movie. Unlike some of Jim Carrey's other roles (i.e., Ace Ventura) this one has aged decently well. He and Jeff Daniels have a great comedic rapport. It's a bit mindless, but that's exactly what I was hoping for. It has a great feeling to it right from those intentional title card spelling mistakes. Then thaat type van. Jim Carrey with his broken tooth and his crazy hairstyle and his physical acting just hits so funny. I laughed so hard at his performance. Jeff Daniels is surprisingly well acted here too. Both of them are just amazing together. There is just an amazing vibe throughout the entire film.
