Rocky (Jane Levy), Alex and Money are three Detroit thieves who get their kicks by breaking into the houses of wealthy people. Money gets word about a blind veteran who won a major cash settlement following the death of his only child. Figuring he's an easy target, the trio invades the man's secluded home in an abandoned neighborhood. Finding themselves trapped inside, the young intruders must fight for their lives after making a shocking discovery about their supposedly helpless victim.

I never feel totally comfortable watching a movie in which the heroine is punched repeatedly in the face, in wide shot, by a muscle-bound psychopath until she blacks out.

The suspense is built as carefully as it is in a good John Carpenter movie; Alvarez uses the camera like a stealth weapon, exploring dark corners and hidden areas of the house with devilish glee.

Solid thriller with some incredibly suspense scenes. I loved the interesting morality dynamic, it is hard to know who is at fault the most. Fantastically shot as well. The ending was a bit weak which is why it doesn't get a perfect score.

The movie is thrilling and was unexpectedly good. The main character being blind with past military experience was also unexpected. The fact that 3 thieves with selfish intent to rob a blind man for his money he received for the death of his daughter is interesting. Another piece that was interesting is that one of the thieves was threatening him, while invading his home… Stupid is, what stupid does. They all got the unfortunate consequences they asked for as soon as they blindly entered a strangers home for greedy gain. No one was a victim.

Ewwww the things the I saw in this film shouldn’t be allowed on television. I can handle gore and blood, but they put pretty disgusting elements in this film.
