Drea (Camila Mendes) is at the peak of her high school powers as the Alpha it-girl on campus when her entire life goes up in flames after her sex tape gets leaked to the whole school, seemingly by her boyfriend and king of the school, Max (Austin Abrams). Eleanor (Maya Hawke) is an awkward new transfer student who is angered to find out that she now has to go to school with her old bully, Carissa (Ava Capri) who started a nasty rumor about her in summer camp when they were 13. After a clandestine run-in at tennis camp, Drea and Eleanor form an unlikely and secret friendship to get revenge on each other's tormentors.

Netflix’s Do Revenge is tremendous, despite having some small faults. It takes its place without question as one of the best teen dark comedies in recent memory and could wind up being considered iconic in the years to come

I adore this film, a true love letter to late 90s and early 2000s teen comedies. The dialogue is crackling, the characters are vivid, and the overall look - the costuming choices, the sun-drenched campus - all being the world to life. Unfortunately, perfection is kept just out of reach, thanks to an overly bloated runtime and a resolution that feels all too rushed. Still, the stars shine and I keep coming back to this film as a comforting watch.

One of the most influential movies in cinema history. The plot is amazing, the way it illustrates reality, the soundtrack, the acting is all so perfectly curated. Only movie I’ve watched at least 30 times and never got tired of it

Do Revenge has insane production quality (girlie pop OP). The actors and the plot are too adulty. It has got a crazy lot happening. There was nothing that really took me by surprise but some of the twists were interesting to witness. The characters are developed really well (though not all amiable) and they remain true to their demons. Solid. Entertaining. Too "glossy" to come of as a high-school/teen drama.
