South Boston cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) goes undercover to infiltrate the organization of gangland chief Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). As Billy gains the mobster's trust, a career criminal named Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) infiltrates the police department and reports on its activities to his syndicate bosses. The Departed is an absolute banger. The cast is stacked, the story keeps you guessing, and the tension gets crazier as it goes on. Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson are all great, and the movie does an amazing job making you feel like nobody is safe. It’s a long movie, but it never really feels boring. Definitely one of Scorsese’s most entertaining movies. Most certainly gonna need snacks for this one cause you’re in for a treat.

Synopsis
