Johnathon W @Hoppynsc Aug 5, 2026 Fun but schizophrenic action film that bounces between serious hostage thriller to all-out action. The cast is solid but nothing great, with Lee Marvin too old to be leading a delta force unit, though Chuck Norris delivers his usual solid action performance. Robert Forester also makes a compelling villain, even if he is in brown face as a terrorist. Behind the camera, Manaheim Golan delivers a fun movie, even if it has a split personality. The first half is a more serious hostage drama, referencing actual plane hijackings and even given balance to the terrorists (they are shown being kind to a pregnant hostage). However, the second half then switches to a crazy action film, with high-tech weapons (Chuck Norris drives one of the coolest motorcycles ever) and insane body count.
