Bret M. @BretM-3 Apr 12 This movie is just pure fun. It tells a simple story that isn’t boring but also isn’t the best part of the movie. The best part is it’s comedy. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, this movie almost always has you laughing, and that’s sometimes just what you need. A movie that puts a smile on your face. John Candy does most of the heavy lifting, but there are plenty of other characters (in particular the villains) that are quite delightful. If you’re in a bad mood, this movie is a great remedy. See more Dave C @RT09838700 Oct 20 An underrated JC movie, if ever there was one! It is pure Candy from start-to-finish, and the cast are very good too. Perhaps not his best work, but that comes from only having seen it once (or twice?), so who knows what I'd think after dozens of viewings (as has been the case with some of his other films). I'll watch it again, for sure. It's certainly funnier and more enjoyable than a lot of reviews would have you believe!
