Harlin still knows how to film a disaster, and the premise has a genuine stupidity that elicits some sympathy. But not even the best stuntman can save a film that starts sinking before the plane even hits the ocean. [Full review in Spanish]

Film was good enough… until the sharks show up. Clearly the film makers have never seen a shark and don’t know anything about them. This could have been an excellent film about plane crash victims trying to survive in the ocean. Instead, it’s shlock that plays on Deep Blue Sea style sharks, but with no reason for their outrageous behavior. Save yourself some money and watch it on steaming. Or better yet, just watch Deep Blue Sea.

I will just say that the first half of this movie wasn’t too bad, but after the plane crash, it was a little bit silly and far-fetched. Overall, not the best movie we’ve seen in a while.
