Sandra Vale is a celebrated Broadway actress, about to play the defining role of her career. Her sister, April Donaldson, has never left their hometown, working as a hairdresser in their mother’s salon while singlehandedly raising her son Theo. The two haven’t spoken in 30 years – until Sandra unexpectedly invites April to her New York show. But when Sandra collapses mid-performance, her sudden vulnerability forces the estranged sisters into uneasy proximity, setting the stage for a tense and emotional family reunion.
