Elevated by Samara Weaving and Ray Nicholson's performances to a point, this fun-enough romp eventually finds itself on the Borderline.

[Jimmy Warden] can come up with a hook, but the movie itself is pretty underwhelming. Go to Full Review

Despite two talented leads, the loose, fictionalized remix of a true stalker case struggles to strike a coherent balance between comedy and horror, landing instead on a repellent, vapid anti-love letter to ’90s Los Angeles. Go to Full Review

The breathless pace, and all these jagged tonal asides, can leave you feeling more than a little disoriented, especially as they drag Warden further from the toxic romance that’s supposed to undergird “Borderline”‘s central story. Go to Full Review

“Just like a Hollywood actor or actress who doesn’t quite know when to stop performing amongst family members and friends, ‘Borderline’ is frequently annoying yet always entertaining and unpredictable.” Go to Full Review

Wiigy Mar 16 A must-see. A hoot and holler with thrills, chills, laugh, the whole kit and caboodle. See more miguel a Mar 15 A bodyguard protects a pop superstar and her athlete boyfriend from a determined stalker in 1990s Los Angeles. Pros: Dark comedy stalker/home in asion movie. Samara Weaving is great as always. Really fun performance from Ray Nicholson who chews up every scene he is in. Surprise performance goes out to Alba Baptista who is hilarious. Funny dark humor and surprisingly violent. The third act had me rolling. Cons: Takes a little too long to get going. Nothing really new done here. See more Chad S. @Redcoat 3h Small cast killer fun! The soundtrack is carefully curated and this is a perfectly underrated movie, have some fun and give this movie a chance! See more Marissa @MonyMovies 10h A fun movie, but they could’ve done better with character development, especially regarding motive. It’s a fun dark comedy but definitely not an iconic horror movie for the ages See more Kelly T @Kellythe7th 23h I laughed once or twice. Bill is probably the most disappointing character. The worst security guard ever. See more Craig W. @CJWolfe27 Jan 15 It’s ok, nothing special here See more Read all reviews
