Is Blade Runner 2049 a masterpiece like its predecessor? Definitely not. It's not even a match for 2016's superb Arrival, the previous film from director Denis Villeneuve. Yet on its own terms, it's a dazzling achievement.

2049 is able to exist both as a masterful sequel and/or stand-alone film in the universe, which showcases Villeneuve’s massive skill as a storyteller and further validates him as one of the best visionaries of our generation.

This is my favorite movie. I’m glad it got screened in theaters!! I wished they released it on IMAX. 10 out of 10 though.

The colours that pushed emotion were so well done. The characters felt beyond real and every small detail felt like it was a part of something bigger.

I LOVE THIS FILM!!!!!!!!! This was my most anticipated movie of 2017 and man did I enjoy it in theaters then. Now rewatching it again, this time with popcorn, a Pepsi, and crunch buncha chocolate, man did I have a GREAT TIME!!! Very nostalgic to when I first saw it 9 years ago. Ruthie movie is ART. It defines cinema and Science Fiction as a whole. Directed by one of my favorite movie directors and cinematography by one of my favorite cinematographers. Grammar performances and music, the list goes on!! This movie will turn 10 years old next year, 2027, it better get rereleased and in IMAX 🔥🔥🎬🎬🎥🎥🤖🤖🐎🦄
