La pelicula no pierde el ritmo y es muy atrapante a cada segundo que pasa, contiene muchos simbolismos ocultos y detalles que harian analizar y sobreanalizar a los mas interesados, buenas actuaciones, el mejor escenario posible que he visto en una pelicula de terror, buenos efectos, excelente pelicula en resumen, una prueba de que el formato found footage sigue y seguira funcionando. See more Alex B @AlexBioni 2 days ago Down We Go This movie came out during the found footage craze of the 2000s, and I remember watching it in college. I unapologetically love this movie. It's one of the better found footage movies out there. The story is engaging and different. Scarlett is an archaeologist hunting for the Philosopher's Stone in the catacombs of Paris. I'm a big adventure movie fan, so adventure plus horror is perfect for me. I like that they explain the lore early because they're shooting a documentary, so it works. The third act is utterly insane, with memorable moments and visuals. It has the claustrophobic feeling of The Descent, and I love the deeper meaning behind the title. Hell is depicted simply, forcing you to face your fears and trauma. Scarlett is a badass. It has the usual shaky cam, but this movie is scary and engaging. There's a stretch without many scares, but the story kept me invested. Without a good story, what's the point? See more Dead A @DeadAliveStore Sep 9, 2026 The same troupes you find in most first person/found footage films where convenience to the protagonists is seemingly ignored by the spooky antagonists (whoever they are). Six folk (three of whom we barely know) go into the catacombs of Paris and end up going into a less spectacular version of the Upside Down from Stranger Things. Characters with little introduction start doing things all of a sudden when it's their que to be popped off and then unceremoniously forgotten about immediately after the fact by the rest of the adventurers. It's all very clunky and trying to hit as many of the high notes we've all already heard but unfortunately it's all a bit tone deaf and empty. The character, the main character, I just don't get how can everyone agree with her so easily. She just says something and everyone just does as she wants, like I think they all would have been saved if they would have stood their grounds, but well. This movie is amazing, really. Makes you feel like you are inside the movie, because all the tiny places, all the things they have to pass, is just makes you think, what if i were in this situation? Really a masterpiece.
