Nolan Parthmore was just a regular guy, hanging with friends, working his game store, flirting with his co-worker, then one day, destiny came calling. A courier delivers a mysterious antique helmet with no note or description. When Nolan puts it on, his whole world changes. The helmet comes to life and calls out to an evil demon, Lord Dragsmere, who was imprisoned by Nolan's deceased father. Nolan soon discovers he is next in the bloodline, heir to The Nobleman, destined to become a hero whether he wants to be or not. Since the Dark Ages, the Noblemen have been guardians against the 13 Devil's Apostles: dark forces escaped from hell and let loose upon on earth. Generations later, it's the heirs of these original knights that possess the power to open the Alpha Rift:the only defense against these supernatural foes.

Inspired by fantasy video games, Alpha Rift is so shoddily made, it makes the most primitive video games from the 1980s look like masterpieces in comparison. What an embarrassing, amateur-looking mess.

Those critics giving positive are jokes from unknown media, and the audience reviews made by 10y old board games enthusiasts ? This film has a terrible script with some of the worse acting ever shown on screen. The girl can’t say her lines, did they just ask a random girl in the street to play in the movie? How did Lance Henriksen ended in this movie? The production , the set, the costumes- those armors look dreadful - the VFX, the sword fights are laughable, all look goofy and cheap. I’ve seen student films better crafter than this.

Almost a super hero movie - almost a knight's tale - almost a D&D movie - that's a way to say it's not the best of anything, but a good average of everything - I enjoyed it all the way through - goos actors - good fights

So this is one of those fantasy movies where they promise swords and sorcery - but only a few swords and no magic - however, it is a fun family film worth watching.
