After making a speech in Moscow vowing to never negotiate with terrorists, President James Marshall boards Air Force One with his family and advisers. When a group of terrorists led by Ivan Korshunov hijacks the flight, the President's principles are put to the test. Air Force One ultimately isn’t so much “Die Hard on a plane” (Fly Hard?) as much as it’s a Top Gun for grown-ups -- military hardware in the service of a red-white-and-blue chest thumper.

Greetings from Lithuania. "Air Force One" (1997) is a pure fun in terms of action adventure films. It is a "Die Hard" rip off of course, but it has a great political spin on it. In a league of movies like "Under Siege", "Speed", "Die Hard" - this one come close. Acting was fantastic from Harrison Ford who is the star of the film, and gives a star performance. Gary Oldman is great as a villain, but his Russian language in here is the worst I've ever heard in any movies - period (2026). Actor of this caliber should have done it better. Sound design in this movie was done amazingly. I've watched this movie in 2026 with Dolby Atmos on my 7.1.4 and it has outstanding sound design. Special effects do hold and they are great here. Overall, packed with a terrific editing, sound design, acting and a great job from a late great Wolfgang Petersen "Air Force One" is a superbly fun adventure action film. One of the more memorable action films from the 90's.

This is one of the best action movies I have watched. Watching Harrison Ford as a US president, was outstanding. Brought both strength, and humanity to the role. The intense actions, suspensions, and the confined setting abroad the plane made every scene interesting and felt high stakes. The villains are memorable and the movie showed a great balance. was really exciting, highly entertaining, film that got my attention to watch again and again. I enjoyed the acting and everything felt real.
