Who wrote this awkward, cliched rubbish? There are too many flaws to name. If you take a cab in NY it will drop you off outside the Vet; you don’t have to then walk another half mile. The open house people are vaudevillian; every kind- much like assorted nuts. Teaching a kid what an LP is in Brooklyn where on every corner is a record store. Why doesn’t she have the vet in her contacts? Every time he rings she responds like it’s a strange number. The script is an insult to these two veteran actors however, Keaton with all her annoying mannerisms gets a bit old. I guess they took the gig hoping for more. However, I really liked the acting and how the story was told and the various characters thought the whole…adventure. It is a light watch, nothing dramatic, a bit warm and cozy. Older couple, cute, a little funny, decent language, no sex -- really perfect!
