Escape from the ordinary and enjoy some silliness and some fun. Sweet story. Kathy Bates should sing more often. Meredith was warm and sarcastic at the same time. An interesting mix of reality and fantasy. Lots of talent here and while maybe not dramatically stunning it was not wasted either.

Held up by its stellar cast, the story gets progressively more ridiculous. And while it was too cute for my tastes I think people who like feel good movies will enjoy it.

The movie is a bit disjointed and not a great movie when analyzed with a magnifying glass, but it’s a lovely piece. It starts with a housewife discovering her husband’s desire for divorce due to his perception of her as boring and lifeless. Soon after, she learns of the death of Victor Fox, a singer. Disillusioned with her life, she decides to attend his funeral in London. The subsequent events unfold in a sweet and lighthearted manner, ensuring a positive ending. The soundtrack, featuring a medley of old love songs, blends even the most disparate parts of the story. While it may not be the best movie you’ll ever watch, it does manage to bring a touch of sweetness to the viewing experience.

One of the most beautiful movie's I've ever seen, I've been watching it since I was a child and it always gives me a good laugh and makes my heart feel warm, Kathy Bates is also amazballs and a gorgeous lady, I definitely recommend this movie🍿
